Shine My Ride had the pleasure of carrying out a New Car Paint Protection on a new Ford B-Max near Bridgwater, Somerset
The vehicle was thoroughly washed, and the wheels cleaned comprehensively. The paintwork, although new, was also decontaminated from tar and industrial fallout. Then the vehicle was dried. The paintwork was polished with a pre-wax cleaner to cleanse the paint surface. Then it was given a wipedown with Isopropyl Alchohol to remove any remnants of wax or polishing oils. The car was now ready for application of a ceramic paint sealant.
The sealant used on this vehicle was Concours Car Care's Ceramishield Pro. Why did we choose this particular sealant. A number of reasons really: Firstly, the ceramic sealants are far more durable than polymer sealants etc. Ceramishield is up to twice as hard as the factory paint surface, as well as being very glossy and hydrophobic.
The sealant was applied panel by panel to all the painted surfaces, as well as the gloss black exterior trim, front and rear lights and also the side glass.
The porous exterior trim was coated with Gtechniq C4, and the tyres with Gtechniq T1 long-lasting tyre dressing.
Mobile Car Valeting in Street by Shine My Ride
So we were called to do some mobile valeting in Street to carry out a full valet on a 2000 Ford Mondeo Hatchback.
From a distance you probably think it doesn't look too bad? In fact it was covered with green algae from being sat unused for some months. The back seat also had green mould all over it.
So after being thoroughly cleaned, tar spots removed etc. The paintwork was polished and then protected with a liquid sealant, trim and tyres dressed.
The interior was also cleaned, with the seats and carpets shampooed, surfaces cleaned thoroughly.
No matter how clean you may think your car is, a professional valeter will be able to take it up a notch.
